Nokhrin Wines is a family-owned wine agent based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We started working with French wines in 2005 and today represent wineries from Côtes du Rhône, Bourgogne, Beaujolais, Bordeaux, the Loire Valley, Champagne and the South West region of France as well as some producers in Italy. Currently, we represent over 15 wineries and are always looking for new producers interested to export to this market.
In the beginning, we contacted several French wineries about representing them in Ontario. We concentrated on the Côtes du Rhône region, best known for its Syrah and Grenache grapes. As our business expanded, we were searching for new wineries and regions. We added some wineries from the South West region in France, and continued to expand with Bordeaux. We shortly added wineries from Bourgogne and the Loire Valley. In 2007, we expanded south and began working with producers in Italy.
2008 and 2009 have been very exciting for Nokhrin Wines. We were kept busy with planning and hosting numerous events in Toronto. In November 2008 we were present at the Gourmet Food & Wine Expo, followed by the Wine & Cheese Show in March 2009, and Salute Food and Wine Festival in May.
Going forward, we are looking to be present at future wine festivals and events throughout Ontario. Recently hosting Jean-Luc Bourbon from Domaine Bourbon in Beaujolais, we have introduced his very impressive wines to the Ontario market. We are very excited about the upcoming years, and will be very happy to assist you in planning your special events!
